Happening in the first few weeks of the fall and spring semesters, the on-campus poster sale is a �������� State tradition. 

�������� will mark the 55th anniversary of Black History Month in February and celebrate its founding by the student organization Black United Students.

The School of Fashion is globally recognized for its exceptional programming. It provides students with opportunities to apply their skills in real-world settings, but it takes awareness and nerve for students to recognize a golden opportunity to showcase those skills. Jesus Baldrich, a sophomore fashion merchandising major, saw one such chance and took it.

Grace Puin excels at getting Parkinsons patients to speak and swallow with intent. She’s so good in fact that Parkinson Voice Project, a nonprofit organization that helps people with Parkinson’s all over the world, invited her to host one of its online SPEAK OUT! Home Practice Sessions.

�������� State Today continues to follow mechatronics engineering technology student Jude Carver as part of ongoing “Year with a Flash” series. Carver is beginning his first semester as a junior in Spring Semester 2025. 

�������� State's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry welcomed students from �������� Roosevelt High School for a day of information sessions, demonstrations and tours of the university's state-of-the-art learning spaces. 

Meet Renee Ellis, a second-year double major in fashion design and fashion merchandising and member of the Honors College from Chicago, Illinois, who said her family influence has inspired her to look at fashion through a deeper lens.

For Kelsen LaBerge, Ph.D., teaching at �������� State is about more than equations. Since joining in 2018, she has dedicated herself to preparing future engineers with not only technical skills but also the resilience to face real-world challenges. The accomplishments and commitment of LaBerge, professor of engineering, have earned her the Outstanding Teaching Award.

��������’s partnership with the African nation of Rwanda continues to blossom with the School of Fashion, the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences all working to add program partnerships in Rwanda.

The Fresh Start Fair gave student organizations an opportunity to let students know what they are all about - and a chance for students to check them out. 

�������� continues to be recognized for its excellence in online education, earning high marks in U.S. News & World Report’s newly released 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. U.S. News recognizes �������� State in the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online Master’s in Education Programs, Best Online Master’s in Business Programs and Best Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs lists.
