Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:50 a.m. All ½­ÄÏÌåÓý campuses will be participating in this test.

½­ÄÏÌåÓý State Police Department Maintains National Law Enforcement Accreditation

The ½­ÄÏÌåÓý Police Department was recently awarded national accreditation for the ninth time by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. in the Law Enforcement program. The ½­ÄÏÌåÓý State Police Department was first accredited in 1991.

Public Hearing for ½­ÄÏÌåÓý State Police Department’s Reaccreditation to Be Held July 27

The ½­ÄÏÌåÓý Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve international reaccreditation. Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA), the program requires agencies to meet state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
