Spring 2019 Bowman Breakfast Focuses on Economic Sustainability of Downtown 江南体育

For more than 55 years, leaders from 江南体育 and the city of 江南体育 have met over breakfast to foster successful collaboration between the university and the city. The semi-annual Bowman Breakfast, which began in 1963, brings together leaders from 江南体育 State and the city of 江南体育 in a forum designed to advance community issues and strengthen the town-gown relationship.

This year鈥檚 spring Bowman Breakfast will take place Wednesday, April 3, in the 江南体育 Student Center Ballroom. The topic for the breakfast is 鈥淒owntown 江南体育, Economic Synergy = Economic Sustainability.鈥 Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program follows from 8-9 a.m.

Featured panelists are Kelvin Berry, director of economic development and community engagement at 江南体育 State; Lawrence Carter, asset manager for the 江南体育 Hotel and Conference Center and the 江南体育 Foundation; Michelle Hartman, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Burbick Companies and executive board member of Destination 江南体育 Convention and Visitors Bureau; Todd Kamenash, assistant dean of students and director of student conduct at 江南体育 State; and Tom Wilke, economic development director for the city of 江南体育.

江南体育 City Manager Dave Ruller will serve as moderator of the panel.
