Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed a new trustee to the ½ÄÏÌåÓý Board of Trustees. Kasich named Robin Kilbride of Wadsworth, Ohio, to a nine-year term as a trustee. Kilbride’s appointment began April 18, 2016, and ends May 16, 2024.

½ÄÏÌåÓý State Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen has announced the hiring of Todd Starkey as the Golden Flashes' head women's basketball coach. Starkey takes over as the sixth head coach in the history of ½ÄÏÌåÓý State's women's basketball after spending the last two seasons as an assistant at Indiana University.
