Reporting on these difficult times is necessary, but can come with risks to the journalist’s health and well-being. �������� State senior Carter Adams recognized the intensity of this and committed to preventing the harm of media professionals by developing a workshop to educate students on media safety.

Communication has shaped the way the world has reacted to the coronavirus pandemic. This fall 2020, �������� State is offering a new course that will examine risk communication through the lens of pandemics and other global crises. “Communicating Risk: Global Pandemics and Crises.”
