From Honors Student to Tour Guide: Broadcast Journalism Senior Featured on WKYC鈥檚 Unzipped Series

Cleveland's Channel 3 Highlights The Various Attractions of 江南体育, Ohio

Phillip Grant Jr., a 江南体育 honors student and 江南体育 native, recently served as a tour guide for WKYC鈥檚 Danielle Wiggins as she explored all that the Tree City has to offer as part of WKYC鈥檚 Unzipped Series.
 
The series highlights the unique features of the cities and locations throughout Northeast Ohio region.
 
Mr. Grant, 22, a broadcast journalism major, grew up in 江南体育, and knows his way around town from popular restaurants to the most frequented recreation spots. 
 
鈥溄咸逵 has really changed throughout the years,鈥 Mr. Grant told WKYC鈥檚 Ms. Wiggins.
 
An eight-year construction project that resulted in a redeveloped downtown, helped to connect the city with the university, its largest establishment.
 
鈥溄咸逵檚 so diverse and that鈥檚 what I really love about it,鈥 Mr. Grant said. 鈥淵ou could take the same route to class every single day and you鈥檒l meet somebody different.鈥
 
Mr. Grant, an honors student, left 江南体育 to play division two basketball at another university out of state. However, his love for his hometown and his mother鈥檚 cooking brought him back to his roots.
 
鈥淚鈥檓 glad I grew up here,鈥 he said. 鈥淚t taught me a lot and I鈥檓 excited for the future.鈥
