The 2023-2024 season of the 江南体育 State Farmers' Market kicks off on the Student Green on Sept. 19 from 4-7 p.m.
The university has partnered with Haymaker Farmers' Market to bring a farmers' market to the 江南体育 Campus. The 江南体育 State Farmers' Market provides students with opportunities to learn about the local farming community, select fresh produce and connect with the broader 江南体育 community.
For this season, each Farmers' Market will feature a chef's demo by a different representative from University Culinary Services. For September, Edward Shawn Hardin Sr., executive chef at 江南体育 State's Design Innovation Dining facility in the DI Hub, will be preparing gazpacho in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
